  • The Museo Casa Carlos Cardel (Jean Jaures 735) will hold its weekly Monday night tango concert series beginning at 6:30 PM.  Details will follow when they become available.   (Free)
  • La Casa del Tango (Guardia Vieja 4049 in barrio Almagro) hosts a tango concert with four singers (Beatriz Gabet, Dora Aguirre, Daniel Aguilar, and Fernando Segura) plus piano accompaniment. (25 peso contribution)
July 10 (Tuesday)
  • Clasica y Moderna (Callao 892)) will feature Graciela Arenas (singer and pianist) who will pay homage (with musical accompaniment) to famous female singers including the tango poet Eladia Blazquez, as well as women known for other genres.  (9 PM)  (? pesos)
July 11 (Wednesday)

Today is "Dia Nacional del Bandoneon" commemorating the birth of Anibal Troilo "El Pichuco".  I am sure newspapers will carry coverage of tango events being offered throughout the city.  
  • The Salon Pugliese within the Centro Cultural de la Cooperacion (Corrientes 1543) will host its weekly tango concert beginning at 8:00 PM.  This week the concert will feature the Duo Bertero Treplane.  (30 pesos)
  • Los 36 Billares (Av de Mayo 1265) will feature Valeria Cotado singing tango classics from her new CD and accompanied by guitarist, Eduardo Rotela beginning at 9 PM.  (50 pesos)
  • Both Omar Gianmarco and Alfredo Piro will be appearing at Torquato Tasso (Defensa 1575) playing from their tango repertoires beginning at 10 PM.  Seating and serving begin at 9 PM.  (40 pesos)
  • Clasica y Moderna (Callao 892)) will feature a show entitled "Buenos Aires at Midnight" modeled after the Woody Allen movie "Midnight in Paris".  The repertoire will include a musical stroll through the BsAs of yesteryear, featuring Gabriel Rolon accompanied by violin and piano and emphasizing the music and verse of Borges, Piazzolla, Freud, and Garcia Lorca, among other legends  (9:30 PM)  (? pesos)
  • Orquesta Tipica el Afronte will be performing live at the Maldita Milonga (Peru 571 in San Telmo) together with the singer Alejandro Guyot.   Federico Naveira and Sabrina Masso will be doing an exhibition.  The milonga generally starts up after 10:30 PM.  (Cost ?)

July 12 (Thursday)

  • The Museo Casa Carlos Cardel (Jean Jaures 735) is hosting a special presentation in honor of the magazine "La Porteña".  Invited speakers are Luis Aposta, Hector Negro, & Roberto Selles.  The singer, Alicia Vazauez and dancers Victor Nieva and Liliana Barboza will also present, beginning at 6:30 PM.  (Spanish only) (Free)
  • Los 36 Billares (Av de Mayo 1265) will feature Dos Orillas, a show of flamenco and tango music and dance beginning after 9 PM.  (50 pesos)
  • La Biblioteca Cafe (M.T.de Alvear 1155) will be hosting Claudia Moreno in a concert of "Simplemente Tangos" with piano accompaniment.  The intimacy of this space makes this a special venue.  Marilina Mozzoni is an invited guest.  Showtime is 9 PM.  (40 pesos for the show, with a minimum consumption of 30 pesos; dinner and show 100 pesos)
  • Both el Negro Falotico and Rascacielos will be appearing at Torquato Tasso (Defensa 1575) playing from their tango repertoires beginning at 10 PM.  Seating and serving begin at 9 PM.  (60 pesos)
July 13 (Friday)
  • Guitarists, Juanjo Dominguez and Hugo Rivas will be featured at Torquato Tasso (Defensa 1575) playing from their tango repertoires beginning at 10 PM.  Seating and serving begin at 9 PM.  (100 pesos)
  • Museo de Arte Botica del Angel (Luis Saenz Peña 541) will host a tango concert featuring the singer Patricia Malanca in a program entitled "Mis Tangos en el Tintero" beginning at 9:30 PM. (Cost ?)
  • Los 36 Billares (Av de Mayo 1265) will feature the well known tango singer Lidia Borda accompanied by guitarrist Ariel Arganaraz beginning after 9:30 PM.  Luis Borda will make an invited appearance. (80 pesos)
  • The highly respected bandeonista Nestor Marconi will be appearing in a tango concert at the UOCRA Foundation (Azopardo 954) beginning at 8:30 PM. This is sure to be packed, so early arrival is recommended. (2 pesos)
  • The Orchestra Los Reyes del Tango will be playing live at the milonga La Viruta (Armenia 1366).  The milonga generally starts up around 11 PM. (Cost ?)
July 14 (Saturday)
  • Los 36 Billares (Av de Mayo 1265) will feature the well known Maria Grana (singer) and Esteban Morgado (guitarrist) beginning after 9:30 PM.  (80 pesos plus consumption)
July 15 (Sunday)
  • The Museo Casa Carlos Cardel (Jean Jaures 735) will host a theatrical performance in story and song, focused on anecdotes from the life of Carlos Gardel beginning at 6 PM.   (Free)
  • Centro Cultural Sur (Caseros 1750) is sponsoring a tango concert as part of their cycle "Domingo, Dia de Tango" beginning at 8 PM.  (free)
  • El Malevaje Arte-Club (Garibaldi 1670 in La Boca) hosts a tango performance during lunch beginning at 1 PM.  (details unavailable)
