WELCOME TANGO LOVER! This website provides you with an overview of the book "Tango Lover's Guide to Buenos Aires: Insights and Recommendations", as well as updates to the book. The updates include additions, deletions, and changes within the tango scene in BsAs, since the book's publication. The website also has a short biography of the author, Migdalia Romero. The tab "Tango Events in BsAs" lists the current month's tango concerts, exhibitions, movies, and special milongas featuring live music that are offered throughout the city's clubs, bars, cultural centers, government buildings, theaters, museums, and dance halls. Many of the listings in this calendar of events are free. "Tango Lover's Guide to Buenos Aires" contains more information about the venues that appear in the calendar of events. The book also provides readers with additional tango venues (restaurants, bars, and clubs) that do not always advertise their events commercially and where performances may occur spontaneously. WORTH VIEWING AND SHARING The link below is to an article on tango that appeared in the digital version of CNN.com, International edition, under "travel" (5/10/2012). I was interviewed by the author, George Webster, and this is the end result. It is a quick and easy read and nicely illustrated. It is worth sharing with friends who are planning to go to Buenos Aires and who may not have had too much exposure to tango.
